Funny Faces!

Difficult breakfast moment!

Alexis didn't want to eat his breakfast, so I decided to give him the bowl and make it more fun for both of us while feeding him with another bowl. And so we see the results and he did eat a lot after all! But is always nice to see his cute face after being washed!

Putting up the tree!

After my cousin's birthday, we decided to put up the Christmas tree, it was fun and our little guy helped us... to distract ourselves with the cute things he would do. We thought he was going to start grabbing all the decorations but he didn't, we were taking pictures like crazy of him while decorating our home, but after all we got the house ready for Christmas.

My mom was holding Alexis right in front of the cake, he took his chance and grabbed a piece of the cake. Luckily my mom caught his hand fast enough so he wouldn't put that into his mouth but we still took good shots of his dirty deed.

Thanksgiving

My grandma came from Chile and here are some of the picture that we could take of her and the baby together. Alexis was fuzzy because there were a lot of people and he didn't want to sleep so it was hard to take a picture while he was upset but this look OK.

It is not a costume, it's a winter suit!

He looked so cute in this, I haven't updated the pictures in so long but better late than never.

He is really growing, there is not going back

I guess he thought he voted because he seems really excited, I hope he chose well. Not that I don't trust my son but he judges according to what people hold in their hands. Ex: "Could I eat that? how would it taste?" I think it will break my heart once he finds out that whoever he chose is not going to feed him directly.



He is a really happy baby! He makes us laugh and we make him laugh as well, humm.. I do not know if that is a good thing and why he laughs at us! I hope he is not thinking we are weird.



Oh yes! He likes to do this face often but now his lower lip comes out even further. Sometimes he tries to smile with his mouth like this and it looks cool... the result is a baby cracking up and doing this face over and over again for our entertainment. I guess he is the weird one but we still love him.

Halloween

Alexis' first Halloween! He didn't know what was going on, and he sure didn't like it when I put his costume on. Before we made it home, he was already asleep.

My Black Hair

I told Becca that I was also thinking about dying my hair dark again but when I said dark I never thought black, I was with Cameron and thought about it then but got scared so I said that I was going to think about, Cameron got it for me and everyone says that it looks good. I think it does but it took me a while to get used to it!

First Time in his High Chair

This is from a month ago but it went pretty well, he loved the chair and he loves eating so it worked out for all of us. We started feeding him cereal since he was four months because it seemed that he was getting tired of the milk and I guess we were right. He knows when food is coming his way and he just laughs and laughs with a cough type of sound in between his laughs, that is how we know he is hungry!

Adorable!

He looks really cute in here, sitting and just looking at me like:"oh here we go again, have to put a cute, innocent look for the camera, and smile if possible!" and he did, people often say he has a sweet look, that he is extremely handsome but that he also reflects sweetness, and kindness. I look in his eyes and I see my Father's love for each of us, and to me, he is the cutest baby in the world but I am sure every mother says that about their own child and nobody can tell them otherwise, all I know is that he is a blessing in our family, and hopefully he will always be sweet and kind :)

Daddy and son time!

Here is a little peek on how this two crazy "man" spend their time together every day. No wonder Alexis loves being with daddy! I think is adorable though. Every time I see them together, laughing and playing; it makes me love my husband and son even more and also to appreciate the husband that I have, he is a good, kind, loving father and I am sure Alexis feel his love just like I do.

Laughing at Mommy

He has the cutest laugh ever, in this video he was a little tired and ready to go to bed, but he still managed to laugh when he saw me!! I don't really know if that is a good thing, and he certainly seemed more interested in eating his hand!

Five Months Old!

It is amazing how big he is, approximately 28 1/2 inches, and last month he weight about 18.8oz, I am sure he is heavier. He can sit without support, laughs out loud, grabs things, baby talk a lot, raspberry sounds, stands up and takes little steps, he eats a lot (cereal for now), and still no cries, we feel so blessed to have him in our lives and that the Lord gave us the opportunity to be his parents. We love him and we know he loves us, hopefully we can get pregnant soon and enjoy this all over again but Alexis is our number one and the one that opened our hearts forever.

He sits!!!

He still falls once in a while,but you can see that doesn't bug him he smiles every time he falls.


He started about 2-3 weeks ago but now he holds himself a lot better


He likes the view from here now, he understands he can play better and see where his toys are.

He rolls around!

I meant to post this video weeks ago but I forgot about it. How could I forget? It is one of the things that our son has accomplished! Now he is a pro, he gets his arm out!

Mirror Picture!

Here Alexis was looking at himself in the mirror, I think he is starting to realize that the baby that looks back at him is himself! Is really interesting to see how they discover things every day!

... he doesn´t have any energy left and starts falling sleep.

When Alexis gets mad!!!

He was getting really upset because he was sleepy and I kept on taking pictures. But, Can you blame me! It is really funny in a cute way.

New church suit

Alex's grandparents bought him this new suit because the other one didn't fit him anymore, even though it said 0-3 months and he was only 2 when we decided it was too small, this one is a little big for him but I still think he looks adorable!

Amazing!

I couldn't stop posting this one; he was actually smiling until the flash went off!! now he is used to the flash but once in a while he gets really amazed by that. Also, if you turn some lights off; he opens his eyes like that too!

Finally exploring the world from the floor!!!

Alexis finally held his head up while lying in his tummy, he has more fun now since he can see what is around him. Before the poor guy could only see the floor, no wonder he hated it so much!!!

Special Olympics (state level)

Here is Gordo (Milexis' brother) competing at the state Special Olympics. This is the first year that he made it to states. He has competed in the regional ones before, but this time he qualified to go to states. He was in the softball throw and he got 3rd!
