I'm a natural

I just fixed our bathroom sink yesterday. I had to replace the trap and the other pipe that connect under the sink.
I know, I know, you're probably thinking only plumbers or well experienced fathers can do that. You probably are wondering why I would even attempt such a daring repair.
Well, I don't know how to answer that. All I know is that I felt the heavy responsibility of the call of fatherdom weighing on my shoulders and so I heroically drove all the way to the hardware store (I needed one of the employees to help me because I had no idea what size I was looking for). And then I connected a few pipes and it was done ... very anticlimactic, I know. But I do know, that this is only the beginning of replacing pipes and fixing things at home. It's all down hill from here.
But as you can all tell, I'm a natural. What could be much harder than fixing a sink drain...

Oh yes, He's walking

Watch out cupboards and drawers, the Sutters' newest terror is now bipedal. Yes, that's right, Alexis has not only taken his first steps, but it has evolved to his primary method of transportation. However, keep your cool, because even though he can stand up by himself (I've seen him with my own two peepers), he doesn't. He crawls to the nearest take-off platform (aka anything that he can pull himself up on) and revs his engines. But enough talk, you want to see it ... uhh ... I mean him, in action so here he is:

[Shortly after I posted this, he started standing up by himself and now that is what he does every time. To quote Milexis: "I don't think I've seen him crawl today."]
His first day walking was January 17.

Moving on, we did an experiment with how we feed him, and well, the video says it all:

And last, but not least, we have to give a show out to Uncle Dan and Friend Elizabeth (soon to be Aunt Elizabeth. Yeah!) who came to visit us. Dan you probably won't see this, but maybe it's better that way...

So in the comments tell us what your biggest fears were when your children started walking. Do any of you have any fun experiences feeding your babies?

Halloween

Alexis' first Halloween! He didn't know what was going on, and he sure didn't like it when I put his costume on. Before we made it home, he was already asleep.

As you can see he was a turtle:

My Black Hair

I told Becca that I was also thinking about dying my hair dark again but when I said dark I never thought black, I was with Cameron and thought about it then but got scared so I said that I was going to think about, Cameron got it for me and everyone says that it looks good. I think it does but it took me a while to get used to it!
